If you are getting a general spinning indicator or similar (depending on your phone or device it could be a star pattern, a clock or something indicating 'activity') this typically means the app is taking time to get more information. It could indicate that there is something wrong with your internet connection (either your speeds are too slow, you’ve run out of mobile data or you are in a low coverage area).
If your internet connection is running well but the mobile app is not, please contact feedback@supergold.govt.nz and let us know.
If you see a bouncing Gold coin, it means that the app is trying to get more information. The issue could be that your internet connection is preventing the app from working, or the SuperGold service is unavailable.

Every smartphone has a different range of technologies built into it, that determine its cost and performance. Generally, a device that is pricier should perform better than its cheaper alternatives. We cannot make the app run faster or slower, but we do design with mid-range devices in mine, not the latest or most expensive.
If the app just isn’t running quickly enough on your device, you can always use the website at https://www.supergold.govt.nz.
The SuperGold app is only available in New Zealand and Australia.
